Animal Manners

Puffin
Just after Christmas 2004/January 2005 I noticed that my eldest cat Puffin (18 this year!!) was starting to soil on my hearthrug in front of the fire. The ensuing lavatorial exploits continued for some time into the New Year and found I was pulling my hair out and desperate to stop the behaviour and stop the almighty smell that was beginning to develop in the room and indeed taking over the house.
So I decided to ask my local vet if they could recommend a local animal behaviourist to sort out this growing problem. It was then that I came across Gill and her life saving advice. She advised me to first remove the causal factor, treat the behaviour issues (which were connected to the other cat of the household) and further advice on how to ensure that the behaviour would not return. After having followed Gill’s advice to the letter I can honestly say that I had amazing success. I can certainly recommend her professional advice and will be eternally grateful. My rug is now back in situe after a good clean and all is well!
