My services

Behaviour consultation (2-3 hour visit)

I visit you and your dog at home to assess the problem and advise on solutions. After I’ve taken a thorough case history, we chat through my suggested training plan. We look at the causes of your dog’s problem, how things appear from your dog’s perspective and, most importantly, how to change his or her behaviour. During my visit you will be able to practise the training exercises with my support and guidance. I then write up and send on a detailed training plan tailored to you and your dog so that you can review the ideas whenever you wish. I keep in touch via phone or email and you can contact me at any time.

Mini visit (1-2 hours)

This too involves a home visit and is suitable for uncomplicated training issues such as pulling on lead or jumping up. After a brief consultation, we get straight down to the training, so this is a largely practical session.  You may be given some pre-written handouts where appropriate, but there is no individualised training plan.

Short practicals

Some people prefer to have shorter sessions, so I offer one-to-one practical training sessions at an hourly rate. This fits well with the way dogs learn and is similar to attending a training class - only without the other dogs! Please note, however, that I generally only offer this service for clients who have already had a full consultation or mini visit.

Puppy pack (1.5 hour visit)

If you’re planning to get a pup or are struggling with your current pup I can help! I cover all the usual puppy issues and answer any questions you might have. For pups up to 15 weeks.
